Tax preparation
Federal and Idaho returns for individuals, sole proprietors, partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, estates, gift filings, trusts and non-profits.
Every return is prepared and reviewed personally. If something changed during the year, a property sale, a new business, an inheritance, a move, that's worth a conversation before the return is filed rather than after.
- Individual returns, including multi-state and rental property
- Partnership and corporate returns
- Estate, gift and trust returns
- Non-profit information returns
Tax planning
Planning is the part that actually moves the number. Entity choice, retirement contributions, the timing of income and equipment purchases, how owners take pay. Those get decided during the year, and they're much harder to fix once it closes.
Worth a call before anything big: selling a business or a building, bringing on a partner, buying equipment, setting up a succession plan.
Tax resolution
An IRS or Idaho State Tax Commission notice is rarely the emergency it reads like, but it does need an answer. Unfiled returns, assessments, penalty notices and balances owed can all be worked through.
Bring the notice in. First step is figuring out what the agency is actually asking for, which is usually narrower than the letter makes it sound.
What this covers
