About our team
A small Twin Falls office: Ruth Pierce, CPA, and Bailey Bibbs, who handles the books, payroll and everything that keeps the place running.
Ruth Pierce was born in Chicago, grew up in Idaho Falls, and has lived in the Magic Valley since 1978. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in accounting and has practiced as a CPA here for more than forty-eight years.
The practice covers individuals, families, farms, construction companies, professional firms, real estate, non-profits, and the attorneys who call about forensic work and valuations. That spread is on purpose. A small business owner's return, their payroll, their books and eventually their succession plan are all the same problem seen from different sides, and it helps to have one person who's watched the whole arc.
What clients describe most often is the translation. Something complicated gets turned into an explanation they can act on, so the decision stays theirs and they make it knowing what's actually at stake.
Working with the practice
This is a small office and that is the point. Ruth is the only CPA, so whoever reviews your return is the same person who picks up in October when something comes up. Clients who started in the early eighties are still here, and several are now the second generation of their family in the file.
Clients come from Twin Falls and around the valley, Jerome, Buhl, Kimberly, Filer, Burley and Rupert, plus a few who moved away and stayed on.
The practice is taking new clients by referral only.
Bailey Bibbs
Bailey graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and is an integral part of how this office runs, on both the administrative and the accounting side.
She handles bookkeeping, payroll processing and financial reporting for a range of clients, mostly in QuickBooks. She also keeps the office running day to day and is expanding her tax preparation work under Ruth's guidance.
She is the person you will speak to when you call, whether you are getting started, checking where something stands, or getting a document to Ruth. What she enjoys most is building relationships with clients and being someone they can count on.

Service outside the office
Ruth currently serves on the Twin Falls City Council and served as Mayor of Twin Falls from 2022 until her term ended in January 2026. She has chaired or led the Twin Falls Rotary Club, the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and the Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization.
The Chamber named her Person of the Year and gave her its Lifetime Achievement Award, and she received the Outstanding Twin Falls Business Woman's Award.
None of that prepares a tax return. It does mean she's spent four decades watching how businesses in this valley actually get built and financed, which turns out to matter when a client is weighing whether to take the next step.
